What can you do with Actions#

With Actions you can automate processes and integrate them with other applications. Use Anchorpoint's Python API to do this.

Actions#

Where are Actions located#

You can put your actions, in the form of YAML and Python scripts in the folder /username/Documents/Anchorpoint/actions.

It is recommended to create a folder for each action. An action always consists of a YAML file, which defines e.g. the name of the action and assigns it an ID. The YAML file can also be used to start command line processes. For example, you can call applications like Adobe After Effects (with the aerender.exe) directly from Anchorpoint and pass arguments.

The YAML file can also trigger Python scripts. Here you can map any logic and add external Python modules.
